Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Salleh Said Keruak

Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Salleh Said Keruak. JP, currently is the Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly for the constituency N. 10 Usukan in Kota Belud.

His active participation in public service started in 1990 serving as Member in Sabah State Legislative Assembly for Usukan constituency for 16 years between 1990 to 2022. Concurrently, he had also served as Member of Parliament Kota Belud.

Holding Doctorate Degree from University Putra Malaysia, Salleh obtained his early Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Simon Fraser University Canada before receiving his Master degree in Politics and Government for University Putra Malaysia.

Throughout, he had assumed critical roles including Sabah’s Chief Minister, State Minister of Local Government and Housing and Federal Minister of Information and Communications. Salleh had also held non-ministerial positions such as speaker for Sabah for Sabah State Legislative Assembly and Senator for Dewan Negara.

Aside from his involvement in public service, Salleh had also occupied corporate roles that include Chairman of Qhazanh Sabah Berhad. The Sabah State Government Investment arm and Chairman of National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) and Non-Executive Director for Suria Group.

He also held several positions in non-governmental organizations such as Vice President of Malaysian youth Council, President of SANYA and President of United Sabah Bajau Organizations.
