It has come to our attention that premature and unauthorised information concerning our Company has been circulated through a third-party messaging platform, specifically regarding the appointment of His Royal Highness Sultan Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V, Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra Ibni Sultan Ismail Petra, as the Royal Patron of UBB Amanah Berhad.

We wish to state unequivocally that this dissemination was not authorised by UBB Amanah Berhad. The circulation of such unverified information has caused unnecessary confusion among the public and stakeholders.

For clarification, UBB Amanah Berhad is currently undergoing a restructuring process involving its shareholders and directors. An official announcement will be made when all matters have been formally finalised.

This action not only misrepresents the position of the Company but also risks compromising the dignity and reputation of His Royal Highness by associating His Royal Highness without consent or formal endorsement.

We hereby issue a stern reminder to all parties that any formal communication regarding UBB Amanah Berhad’s affairs, including but not limited to corporate developments, governance matters or information on trust services provided by UBB, will be published exclusively via official memorandums issued by UBB and the Company’s official website.

Please note that UBB will not issue announcements through third-party messaging platforms. Any communications circulated outside the stated channels should be disregarded.

UBB Amanah Berhad reserves the right to take legal action against any party found to be responsible for the unauthorised dissemination of information.

In conjunction with this notice, we hereby announce the immediate suspension of our Amanah Liawm Mumtir Raya service until further notice.
