White Flag 2021
We began 2021 continue to be embroiled in the Covid-19 crisis. A hostile environment struck the nation, businesses were badly affected and unemployment skyrocketed.
Ubb was quick to step in, assisting the helpless. We echoed the #benderaputih (white flag) campaign, which has gained momentum on social media to encourage people to help others in distress during a prolonged lockdown in Malaysia. Food boxes containing daily essentials such as rice, sugar, milk, flour, oil, and canned food were actively sent to different groups in various locations.
Desa Mentari Flats
In July 2021, over 127 residents in Mentari Court were tested positive for Covid 19 and were placed under enhanced movement control EMCO. In light of the restriction, UBB Amanah Bhd was quick to send boxes of food essentials to relieve the burdens of the affected community.
